The Great Gatsby may be a film showing life in the “The Roaring Twenties”, but features songs from some of the biggest names in music and entertainment today!
Fans of the upcoming movie will have to wait one month until its release but a major new trailer for the film is already inciting fans with great songs from some familiar faces and voices.
Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, from Warner Bros. is causing quite a stir, all for the right reasons.
The trailer features a rich and layered dialogue by some familiar voices: “Mr. Gatsby, I’d like to know, exactly who are you, anyhow?” Tom Buchanan (Joel Edgerton) questions in the trailer. Soon, Andre 3000 from the music group Outkast leads into his and Beyonce‘s cover of Amy Winehouse‘s “Back to Black.”
The video also features Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan, and teases fans with a new song from the film’s upcoming soundtrack. “Over The Love,” is the song that Florence + The Machine’s contributes to this star-powered soundtrack.
The film’s executive producer, Jay-Z with Lana Del Ray, The xx, Gotye, Jack White on the soundtrack and stars Joel Edgerton and Leonardo DiCaprio.
